Sampson Campaign Builds Momentum with Busy Weekend Across Fulton County

Fulton County, GA — Aaron Sampson’s bid for the vacant District 3 Commission seat continues to gain momentum following a strong weekend of community engagement and voter outreach.

On Saturday, Sampson marched in the annual Inman Park Parade. Throughout the day, Sampson spoke with local residents and connected on the issues that matter most to them ahead of the November election.

“It’s so important to show up at events like this one,” said Sampson. “I heard from voters on a lot of issues today. But the consistent message was that folks simply want their local officials to be accessible and more present in their community. I’m committed to doing just that.”

On Sunday, Sampson visited congregations throughout the district as part of his ongoing faith-based engagement initiative. He feels this is critical because good governance starts with meeting people where they are.

“You shouldn’t have to go to a County meeting to hear from your commissioner,” said Sampson. “They should be seeking you out, not the other way around. I’m grateful that our local churches have been gracious enough to let me in to listen and have important conversations.”

Looking ahead, the campaign is optimistic that they will keep the momentum going by posting a strong fundraising number on the April 30th deadline. It will be a clear reflection of the growing broad-based support from residents across the district.
