Aaron Sampson Officially Qualifies for Fulton County Commission Race, Secures Place on November Ballot

FULTON COUNTY, GA — Aaron Sampson has officially qualified as a candidate for the Fulton County District 4 Commission seat. His name will now be on the ballot for the November Special Election to fill the open seat.

Sampson completed the formal qualifying process Friday at the Fulton County Elections Hub in Union City, marking a key milestone in his campaign.

“I’m proud to have taken this important step and officially be on the ballot,” said Sampson. “Our campaign is building real momentum, and I’m encouraged every day by the positive response we’re hearing from residents across the district.”

Sampson’s campaign is centered on delivering tangible results for Fulton County residents. His priorities include strengthening access to healthcare, addressing long-standing challenges within the Fulton County Detention Center, and defending the integrity of the county’s election against Donald Trump and election deniers.

But at the heart of his campaign, Sampson says, is a renewed focus on the fundamentals of local leadership.

“More than anything, this campaign is about neighborhoods,” Sampson added. “People want a commissioner who is present, accessible, and responsive — someone who shows up, listens, and delivers. That’s the kind of leadership I’m committed to providing.”

As the campaign moves forward, Sampson plans to continue engaging directly with residents across the district, building on the ground-up energy that has fueled his candidacy so far.
